About
I work as a video editor and motion designer.
My background is in photography and video. Editing has always been the through-line.
For over seven years I ran an international brand, which means I understand what content needs to do commercially, not just visually.
I've spent years in journalism producing, shooting and editing short films under real conditions - on deadline, alone, on whatever camera was available.
That's where the craft got sharp.
Based in London.
I work in English and German, remotely.
How I work
Good work starts before the edit.
Every project begins with a real exchange -
not a brief, not a form.
I want to understand what you're making and why before we begin. What it's for. What it needs to feel like. Where it lives.
I don't impose a style. I find the one already living in the material.
You'll hear from me when there's something worth saying. I work remotely and asynchronously, with minimal meetings.
I'll tell you what I think. If something isn't working, I'll say so. You're not hiring me to execute without thinking.
I take on a focused number of projects at a time - that's how the work stays good.
Revisions are part of the process. Endless revisions are not.
I'm not on social media. If you'd like the occasional update on what I'm working on, just say so.
